Towards the Wellbeing Economy: report by young economists

A think-tank of young economists, led by prof. Jan Peter Balkenende & prof. Govert Buijs, just published their report “Towards the Wellbeing Economy: Implications for Public, Environmental and Financial Policy”. In the report Sam de Muijnck, Elisa Terragno Bogliaccini and Jim Surie, suggest a series of reforms for the economy to make a fundamental paradigm-shift. The think-tank of young economists is part of the “Future Markets Consultation”, to which Socires and Sustainable Finance Lab are active contributors. Finance and the Common Good program parts have also made it to the report, see for instance the suggestions for a “Debt Jubilee”.
