On 21 October 2020 Jim Surie – member of the Finance and the Common Good team – presented a column titled “Quality over Quantity” in a discussion with prof. Francois Bourguignon and prof. Elizabeth Anderson. The theme of the discussion was “Free Markets and Inequality: an Inescapable Marriage?”. The event was held in Pakhuis de Zwijger and is part of the “Future Markets Consultation”, which is organised by the Finance and the Common Good program together with the Moral Markets (VU) research program and Pakhuis de Zwijger.
